i35: Dignitas Win CoD4

Alongside the CS:Source tournament at i35 there was also a major Call of Duty 4 tournament with many of Europe's top teams in attendance and even a splattering of players from North America in the form of Team-EG. In the end the Grand Final took place between British powerhouse Dignitas and the chaps from EG in what was a very one sided match. EG opted to choose mp_vacant as their map of choice, one they play in CEVO online tournament back home and one that Dignitas have rarely if ever played.

In retrospect EG will likely regret their decision as although Dignitas hadn't really played the map their teamwork and individual skill saw them produce a convincing whitewash, 13-1, and be crowned i35 Champions and claim 3000 euros. Congratulations to them and commiserations to Team-EG who may need to go back to the drawing board or ensure they have their starting 5 present at the next event.
