The EuroKrieg Finals are upon us...

And it’s time to prepare for war. Two armies line-up each faced with an uncertain task of claiming victory for their homelands and the spoils of a bitter battle to determine Champions that will go down in the annuls of time.

OK, enough of the old world rambling and back to the here and now. Yes, as the title suggests it is time for the EuroKrieg Finals sponsored by BE* Broadband (hurrah) and hosted by Enemydown. Having fought their way through numerous challenges the 30th October will see the final two teams go head-to-head to see who is crowned the inaugural tournament Champion and handed a cheque worth 5000 Euros.



 

The Danes of xoxo will take-on Team-VeryGames from France in what promises to be a spectacle of a final. Before we get into all the details lets take a quick look at their respective routes through the bracket.

Xoxo:-

2 – 0 London Mint
2 – 1 Crack Clan
2 – 0 tera

Team-VeryGames:-

2 – 0 Logitech
2 – 0 esu
2 – 0 GIAL


In an interview eXce from xoxo noted their game versus Crack Clan from France as the toughest and it will be interesting to see how they fare against another French outfit. Team-VeryGames seemed to have a reasonably easy ride with 2-0 victories all the way in the brackets but took a narrow victory against Crack Clan in their group phase and drew with oXmoze. Xoxo on the other hand suffered one loss in their group stage but still managed to progress and now see themselves in the Grand Final.

The Haymarket Sports Bar in London will be hosting live commentary from QuadV of the final (which is being played online for logistical reasons) as well as screening the match on a number of plasma screens around the venue. There will also be some goodies being given away and for those lucky enough to be invited as VIPs, a special area to mix with some of the top industry / eSports talent and a number of staff members from BE* Broadband.
