EuroKrieg: VeryGames Win!

So time for an update for those that haven't been following the action live from the Haymarket Sports Bar and the Grand Finals of the EuroKrieg tournament sponsored by Be*. After 3 maps of intense action (and a few scary moments in the middle) Team-VeryGames from France have been crowned the champions of the first EuroKrieg tournament and walk away 5000 euros richer for their troubles. Many people thought xoxo would be able to take the victory after recent strong performances and after the second map which made Team-VeryGames look quite poor many thought they had it in the bag. Regardless though congratulations to both teams for getting this far and certainly to Team-VeryGames for earning the championship title.

We will be announcing the winner of the prediction competition tomorrow and will also hopefully have some photos uploaded from the event for you to have a look at. There will also be a VOD of the final hosted by QuadV and I am sure there will be a few SourceTV demos floating around shortly so look out for those.

For now though it is time to get some sleep after a very busy and hectic day.
